Experience

  • (November 2022 - September 2023)

Chris Collins Inc. is a consulting company based out of DTLA. Working primarily within the auto industry, Chris and his team of consultants optimize and educate dealerships/independent repair shops across the US and Canada. As a leader on the Marketing team, I wrote copy for a variety of purposes within the company: titles/captions for YouTube videos, social media content for LinkedIn and Facebook, email campaigns for clients and prospects, scripts for digital ads, articles for the company blog, a weekly newsletter, and more. I also produced a weekly podcast and short-form content for YouTube.

  • (October 2021 - September 2022)

I worked as an Office Production Assistant on Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon. During my year-long stint on the project, I took on a wide variety of responsibilities. On a daily basis, I managed our inventory of production assets, sourced/ordered more assets as needed, rolled phone calls for our production coordinators/producers, greeted guests from other departments, ran sensitive errands on behalf of producers and high-level talent, organized production files/invoices, tracked purchase orders for various departments, printed call sheets and daily script sides, and organized lunch orders for up to 50 people at a time.

  • (February 2021 - October 2021)

As a freelance production assistant, I worked on a variety of film, TV, and commercial productions which you can find on my IMDB page. My Office PA duties were identical to those described above, while my responsibilities on set were less administrative, involving tasks such as setting up gear/pop-up tents, shuttling talent to/from set, delivering production supplies to various departments, and locking down locations for filming purposes.

    Some highlights include:

    • Office PA: The Fabelmans and Breaking

    • Set PA: The Emmy’s, The Drew Barrymore Show

    • Locations PA: I Think You Should Leave (Season 2)

  • (August 2018 - March 2020)

SRAX is a financial technology company that unlocks data and insights for publicly traded companies. As an Associate Community Manger, my daily responsibilities included writing articles for SRAX and its subsidiary app BIGtoken, curating/publishing social media for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn, answering customer support inquiries on all social media platforms, tracking and compiling reports of monthly web and social analytics, creating paid social campaigns, and writing copy for emails, newsletters, case studies, and scripts.

  • In 2017, 2019, and 2022, I worked a seasonal contract as an assistant to SXSW Head Producer Charlie Sotelo. Charlie produces all of the comedy events at the festival, and I help him by writing content for their annual press release and website listings. As a fan of stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy, I help write informative, appealing event descriptions to attract festival-goers to a wide array of comedy shows, innovative performances, and podcast tapings.

  • (August 2017 - July 2018)

Main Street Hub (acquired by GoDaddy in 2018) is a social media services company. As a Community Manager, I created original written and visual content for 160+ local businesses located throughout the country, engaged and connected with online audiences, fans, and consumers on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Yelp, and TripAdvisor. I also collaborated with teammates across departments, implement customer feedback, innovate on strategies, and help develop best practices.
